There are two options for the future of Russia (illustrative photo)/Radio Liberty
< strong _ngcontent-sc83="">It is impossible to explain to the Russians what is happening in Ukraine, because they constantly listen to the propaganda of their government and everything suits them. However, after the attack on Ukraine, Russia is waiting for two scenarios.
This was stated by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Volodymyr Ohryzko on Channel 24.
According to him, The first option is that Russia will get a “half-dead” economy and will be able to feed its population only as a last resort. The second is that under the pressure of Western economic sanctions, the Russian state will simply collapse.
When the economy collapses, politics also collapses. The political system will not work. But what the West will choose is a question for him,” the ex-Foreign Minister noted.
As Ohryzko added, most likely the West will not dare to take drastic steps because of Russia’s aggression, because this will bring additional work and problems, and no one wants to look for extra trouble.
