Russian terrorist Igor Girkin admitted that in the coming months the Armed Forces of Ukraine will launch a counteroffensive and will be on the Crimean Isthmus. There are factors that help Russia maintain control over Crimea.
Refat Chubarov, head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, stated this in a commentary on Channel 24 . He believes that first you need to evaluate your own capabilities. Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that by dismissing Crimea, Ukraine would put a historical end.
“We need to proceed from our own capabilities and the joint work carried out by the Ukrainian state, in particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine with its partners,” Chubarov said.
He noted that much of what Girkin says comes from Russian internal issues and relationships.

Chubarov also suggests that Girkin refers, in particular, to American sources analyzing the course of the Russian-Ukrainian war, because some of the theses of the terrorist are the conclusions of military experts. And in one of the conclusions, in particular, it is said that Ukraine's path to victory lies through Crimea.
“And the liberation of Crimea radically changes the whole situation not only in the course of this war, but in Russia's opposition to the whole world,” said the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.

He noted that according to experts, there are three factors that help Russia keep the Crimean peninsula occupied – this is a bridge across the Kerch Strait, the Russian Black Sea Fleet and land communication through the occupied territories.

Like, experts convince that first of all it is necessary to make Crimea such a territory that the Russians could not use it.
“We need to make Crimea an incapable territory for the use of aviation, the Russian army and navy. And, of course, cut off communications,” said Refat Chubarov.
