Spartak noted that the enemy is actively using aircraft-type strike UAVs and multi-rotor FPVs, is actively conducting reconnaissance of Ukrainian positions, is laying remote mines, and is using MLRS systems against frontline villages.
— Adverse weather conditions, such as rain, fog, and snow, significantly reduce the effectiveness of any type of weapon. This especially affects the operation of drones, for which these factors are critical. Among the main problems are the complication of enemy detection and disruption of signal transmission between the UAV and the control panel, — Spartak explained.
He noted that at the same time, bad weather creates favorable conditions for the activities of sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRG), which is actively used by both our units and the enemy.
— Carrying out combat missions with drones in the face of Russian electronic warfare is difficult, but possible. The enemy is actively using a significant amount of electronic warfare, including both conventional trench systems and more serious systems, such as Pole-21, — Spartak said.

The Pokrovsk direction remains a priority for the Russian Federation
As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the week in the Pokrovsk direction the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the areas of the settlements of Vodyanoye Vtoroye, Elizavetovka, Mirolyubovka, Luch, Zelenoe, Udachnoye, Novoaleksandrovka, Kotlino, Bogdanovka, Andreyevka, Shevchenko, Dachnoye, Ulakly and Konstantinopolskoye.

Military observer Bogdan Miroshnikov noted that the enemy may have an additional option in in case of loss of Kotlino. According to him, this will open up the possibility for the occupiers to go straight to Pokrovsk via the railway.
— And these are bad news. Because further on there are exclusively open fields, there are no settlements that would stand on it. In terms of distance, it is about 6 km along the railway line, he noted.
According to Miroshnikov, if you look at how events unfolded after the loss of Avdeevka, the enemy moved along the railroad all the way to Novogrodovka.

Situation in the Kupyansk direction
Russian troops have been concentrating their efforts for a week near Petrovpavlovka, Peschanoye, Glushkovka and Lozovaya in the Kupyansk direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

At the same time, Bogdan Miroshnikov noted that the enemy had almost occupied the village of Dvurechnaya in the Kharkov region. The head of the Kharkov OVA, Oleg Sinegubov, reported to Ukrainian journalists that active military operations were underway in the village of Dvurechnaya in the Kupyansk district, and that Russian infantry was trying to advance and gain a foothold.
According to Miroshnikov, at the same time, Russian troops had already moved in the direction of Kutkovka.

Currently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are concentrating on conducting a defensive and deterrent operation, which has two main goals, said the head of the Center for Military-Legal Research, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Musienko.
— The first is to inflict maximum losses on the enemy. The second is to limit the advance, not allow the enemy to develop momentum. They concentrate on these two tasks and implement them. There are areas where it is much more difficult, there are areas where it is simply difficult. There are no areas where it is easy or where there would be no clashes, — he explained.
According to Musienko, the Kursk region, the Pokrovsk direction and Toretsk remain a priority for the enemy. There is the maximum concentration of Russian forces there, and then — the Kharkov region and other directions.
— As for the Kursk region, I can say that just recently there was a battle that lasted almost eight hours. There were a significant number of North Korean servicemen involved, who attacked in various ways, using all possible tactics.
These are classic assaults with infantry, supported by artillery and drones. They used armored vehicles in places. This attack was repelled. That is, the enemy is using maximum force in two or three directions, — explained Alexander Musienko.
A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that this week at the front was really difficult due to the large number of attacks, the use of a significant number of drones and the use of heavy weapons.

— But these attacks are being repelled. No significant enemy advance is being recorded. The defense forces are concentrating on inflicting maximum damage and slowing the pace of advance. A reduction in the area over which the enemy is advancing has now been noted. There are prospects for a complete stop and stabilization of the front in the short term, — he believes.
According to Musienko, the enemy has been on the offensive for over a year now, so it has already crossed all the canons by which offensive operations can generally be conducted. All this leads to the enemy becoming exhausted.
— For example, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky noted that the enemy's concentration and use of artillery has now decreased somewhat. It is not the same as it was before. This is also a sign that there is a certain exhaustion. The Russian Federation is trying to attract all possible forces. In particular, the call-up of reserve officers for training, attempts to obtain additional support forces from North Korea, possibly mercenaries from Iran after signing the relevant agreement.
This is evidence that they will try to squeeze through as much as possible in the near future and fix themselves in certain positions. There is potential to stop them in the future and exhaust them, to lead to stabilization of the front during the spring campaign, — he is convinced.
In Kursk region, despite the advantage of the Russians, the Defense Forces are conducting tactical counteroffensive actions and in some places are pushing the Russians out of certain positions, claims the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation Andrei Kovalenko.
— In fact, now the Russian-Korean troops retain an advantage in personnel. But due to the terrain features, as well as the loss of equipment and people, their pace of movement was slowed, and the initial plans were disrupted, — noted Kovalenko.
