The Kharkov OVA sees no reason to announce the evacuation of Kharkov residents, despite the intensification of hostilities in the north of the region.
This was stated by the head of the region Oleg Sinegubov himself at a briefing on May 11.
—We clearly understand what forces the enemy is using in the north of our territory. There, of course, there may be escalation and pressure to increase, but so far there are no threats to Kharkov, — he indicated.
According to Sinegubov, the authorities will continue to monitor developments and make decisions in accordance with the situation.

At the same time, in the border zone in the north of the Kharkov region, where Russian troops intensified fighting, the evacuation of about 2 thousand people was organized and carried out.

There were 28 civilians there, who at one time flatly refused to evacuate.
