The “People's Militia” of the pseudo-republics suffered considerable losses
Russian invaders sent “people's policemen” from the “DPR” to fight against Ukraine. The data of the Main Intelligence Directorate indicate that almost all of them died in the battles near Mariupol.
The Main Intelligence Directorate notes that almost the entire personnel of the so-called “Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR” was involved in the battles in the Mariupol directions. We are talking about both the servicemen of the “internal troops of the DPR” and the cadets of the “Donetsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs”.
Many “people's policemen” from the “DPR” died
Since the beginning of a full-scale war against Russia against Ukraine, the “Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR” suffered significant losses.
- For example, up to 1,000 people died in the Mariupol direction, of which 26 were cadets. Another 2,800 wounded are also known.
- As for other areas, another 500 “policemen” died and 2,100 were injured.
The staff of the GUR emphasized that the shortage “law enforcement officers” became the reason for the deterioration of the situation with “public law and order” in the “DPR”. Moreover, it also complicated future forced mobilization.
It is also known about the investigations related to the loss of personnel. They will concern the head of the “Donetsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs”, as well as the chiefs of staff of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs”. The corresponding decision was made by the “Minister of Internal Affairs of the DPR”.
