Ukraine needs a significant amount of weapons/Valentina Polishchuk, Channel 24
On June 15, Brussels will host a meeting of the Ramstein-3 Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine. If several main tasks are solved during it, this will be a successful indicator of the Ukrainian side.
Igor Tishkevich, an analyst and expert at the Ukrainian Institute of the Future, told Channel 24 about this. He noted that he does not expect a big breakthrough or any kind of failure from Rammstein-3.

According to Tishkevich, the issue of artillery and anti-ship missile systems is very important for Ukraine now.

Some of them already exist, which was fantastic 3 months ago. Accordingly, it is very important for Ukraine to reach a normal delivery schedule, because what was handed over to us – there are losses here.
Therefore, it is important for Ukraine to compensate for losses at the front and increase the number of weapons.
As Tishkevich noted, the second part is ammunition. The third is unlocking for Ukraine the opportunity to buy weapons from Western partners. At least in the European market.
I don't look forward to this meeting again. If at least 2 of these 3 tasks are solved, it will be a successful summit for Ukraine,” the analyst added.
Ramstein-3 meeting: what is known< /h2>
- US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced the meeting of “Rammstein-3” in Brussels. It will bring together the heads of the ministries of defense of NATO countries. One of the most important issues will be Russia's war against Ukraine.
- Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny held talks with US Ambassador Bridget Brink. The parties discussed preparations for the meeting in the Rammstein format.
- The United States announced that new arms supplies to Ukraine are expected from the meeting in the Rammstein format. An official from the Ministry of Defense of the country stressed that he would not disclose information about which countries after Ramstein-3 would agree to supply weapons for the time being. However, the United States seems to be actively cooperating to provide funds for the Armed Forces.
