Hašek reacted to the death of multiple champion of Ukraine in cycling Andrey Kutsenko. He stated that those who tolerate the participation of Russians in sports competitions should also be held accountable for the blood of Ukrainians.

In total, 10.5 thousand athletes from 206 countries will take part in the Olympics in Paris, as well as 33 athletes without a state, flag or anthem.
We are talking about “neutral” athletes from Russia and Belarus, who, due to Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, were not allowed to participate in the Olympics, but received an invitation from the IOC.
