Russia threatens the US with consequences if Washington continues to transfer weapons to Ukraine. The White House says: they do not intend to respond to empty threats.

This was told by White House press secretary Jen Psaki. She noted that she did not intend to comment on the threats of Putin or the rest of the leadership of Russia.

We are doing what we promised, Psaki.

We are doing what President Biden promised to do from the very beginning: in the event of a Russian invasion, the US is providing significant security, economic and support assistance to the Ukrainian people. And we will continue to do just that,” Psaki explained.

Washington is considering the next sanctions against Moscow

Washington continues to consider new sanctions against Moscow. Psaki says: if you wait a little, you can see a significant result. The United States will also monitor whether the Russians are avoiding compliance with punitive restrictions.

Psaki recalled that even the head of the Russian Central Bank, Elvira Nabiullina, admitted that sanctions will increasingly affect various sectors of the Russian economy.
