Snow fell in the western regions of Ukraine on the night of Saturday, November 18.
In particular, the first snow was met by residents of the Lviv region, Ternopil region, Rivne region, Bukovina, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Volyn and Transcarpathia.

In the Lviv region, more than ten special vehicles were put on the roads due to bad weather. The snow had to be cleared on the Skhidnitsa Pass.
— This night and in the morning, local roads were cleared by 12 units of equipment and 72 tons of sand-salt mixture were used. “On roads of national importance, 24 units of equipment were used, 96 tons of mixture were used,” said the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maxim Kozitsky, who published a video.
A day earlier, the head of the Rivne Regional Administration, Vitaly Koval, warned residents of the region to plan their trips, taking into account weather conditions.

He noted that the contracting organizations responsible for the operational maintenance of roads have formed appropriate reserves of materials and equipment and are in “combat” readiness.
