The German Chancellor believes that the diplomatic possibilities for resolving the situation around Ukraine have not been exhausted.
On Tuesday, February 15, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, after a meeting in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin, called the withdrawal of Russian military personnel to the places of deployment after the exercises a good sign.

The head of the German government told reporters that the diplomatic possibilities for resolving the situation around Ukraine have not yet been exhausted.
“We must not reach a dead end that will turn into a disaster for everyone,” he stressed.
Olaf Scholz also spoke about the need for urgent de-escalation. “The war must not start,” he said.
The German chancellor said that for his generation, the war in Europe is something incredible. He also called it a good sign that Russian military personnel were sent to the places of deployment after the exercises that took place near the borders of Ukraine.
