We will be in the EU. It is the matter of time. How much time is needed for this depends only on us and no one else.
The key to the EU is in the hands of Ukraine
Now corrupt officials are trying to convince the people that the EU there are some countries that are against our membership and that we are still not members of the EU only because of their intrigues.
This is not true. If Denmark and the Netherlands do not want to see a corrupt and authoritarian Ukraine in the EU, this does not mean that they are blocking Ukraine's entry. They protect their values and have every right to do so.
Because corruption is evil. Closing declarations of officials from the public is evil. The two-year absence of the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office is evil. Deputies with suitcases of cash are evil.
This evil must be punished. Not for the EU, not for Denmark. For you and me. So that we live in a European country, not in Europe.
Unshakable rules for the future
Accession to the EU depends on us and only on us. Let me remind you that before the war this was out of the question. Only the feat of the Ukrainian people made it possible to consider our application for EU membership now, and not in 30 years. So we, and we alone, are either pushing EU accession closer or postponing it.
There can be no excuse for not doing our homework. We're knocking on the door of an elite club. We want their markets, money, technology, lifestyle. And if at the entrance we are asked to wash our hands, this must be done! And not to talk about the sleazy people who don't like our hands.
