Even despite Russia's attempts to intimidate Ukrainians with massive missile strikes, the topic of the explosion on the Crimean bridge is still being actively discussed. In particular, it is still not known exactly who and how organized it.
Military expert Oleg Zhdanovin his stream, he focused on the train, and not on the truck, which is most often called the source of the explosion, according to Channel 24. He thinks the truck version is the weakest in this story.
An interesting detail about the train
The military expert noted many technical nuances regarding that the train had probably stood still at the time of the explosion. He suggests that one of the small explosions could have been on the railway bridge to set fire to the tank car.
Only the tanks that were in the area of the explosion caught fire. If the train was moving, then the entire tail section of the tanks would also burn. After all, the wind would have transferred the fire to other tanks, – Oleg Zhdanov notes.
He is convinced that these tanks did not explode only because they had numerous holes from an explosive device. Probably even an anti-personnel mine could have been used.
“Heated tanks did not explode under internal pressure, but this pressure was weakened due to fuel leakage. This caused such a large-scale fire and such a large flame,” the specialist explained.
Versions of the explosion
The military expert is convinced that in the story of the explosion on the Crimean bridge, the version with the truck is the weakest. Instead, the version of a missile attack is becoming more and more popular.
This confirms the participation of the Russian Ministry of Defense in this terrorist attack. That the most important intelligence department of the Russian Ministry of Defense could do this, Oleg Zhdanov said.
He noted that the railway bridge was not damaged, while maintaining its capacity for further overturning troops. Like, the Russians did not completely destroy the automobile part, so as not to block traffic.
“The version of an internal terrorist attack in Russia, I think, is quite likely. On the one hand, this is a struggle between two power structures – the Ministry of Defense and the FSB, and on the other – this terrorist attack contributes to the escalation in the war,” the expert emphasized.
Russia launched massive rocket attacks on the territory of Ukraine, allegedly in response to the damage to the Crimean bridge. And Vladimir Putin openly admits that this is revenge.
Explosions on the Krymsky bridge
- On the night of October 9, on the Krymsky bridge there were large-scale explosions that damaged the railway track and one span of the highway. Despite numerous versions of the incident, it is also unknown what happened.
- From the next day, October 10, Russia began to launch massive missile strikes on the critical infrastructure of many Ukrainian cities. The attacks continued on October 11 as well.
- However, the Foreign Ministry and the Office of the President of Ukraine assured that these two events were in no way connected. They say that Russia could deliberately set up an explosion on the Crimean bridge, in order to later declare that it was provoked to do so.
- By the way, Ukrainian intelligence said that not all Russian military officers complied with the order to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities. So part of the rockets flew right into the field.
