By the end of December there will be another military aid package for Ukraine, which does not require approval from the US Congress.
This was stated at a briefing by the coordinator of the US National Security Council at the White House John Kirby.
— We plan to send another aid package to Ukraine later this month. However, as Pentagon Comptroller Michael McCord clearly noted in his memo to Congress today, once this package is delivered, we will no longer have authority to replenish the budget, — he explained.
Therefore, I once again called on Congress to act without delay and approve new funding for Ukraine, since this is also in the national interests of the United States.
