The United States has approved a temporary budget. It was previously reported that the aid package for Ukraine would be considered later.

United States President Joe Biden signed the stopgap spending bill. This is to prevent a government shutdown.

Help for Ukraine and Israel

The signed bill does not mention assistance to Ukraine or Israel.

Earlier it became known that the Senate plans to consider an aid package, including for Ukraine, no earlier than in a week. After Thanksgiving, which this year will be celebrated on November 23rd. That is, the aid package for Ukraine will be considered at least in early December.

What kind of help can Ukraine expect from the United States?

  • Joseph Biden plans to give our country $61.4 billion. First, he wanted the US Congress to vote on a package of aid for both Ukraine and Israel. However, this failed, and discussions will now continue in Congress about providing funds to Kyiv.
  • Political scientist Andrei Vigirinsky said that the Biden administration will have to make efforts to come to an agreement with representatives of the Republican Party on providing assistance to Ukraine.
  • Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson said that consideration of a separate bill to allocate $14.3 billion to Israel should begin. This means that there will be no package vote to provide $105 billion in aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan together.
