The US Senate passed a government stopgap bill

The US Senate on November 16 (November 15 in Washington) voted for a law on temporary government funding and handed the document to President Joe Biden for signature.

Biden's signature will avoid a government shutdown. The bill received 87 votes “for” and 11 “against”.
