Lloyd Austin made the corresponding statement during his visit to Thailand. The minister announced this on June 13, on the 110th day of the full-scale war that Russia launched against Ukraine.

Lloyd Austin answered a journalist's question about so far, the goal of the allies is the victory of Ukraine in the war and the weakening of Russia. He also recalled the statement of the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office Mykhailo Podolyak, who stated that Ukraine needs 1,000 howitzers and 300 multiple launch rocket systems and named a list of other necessary weapons.

- The situation at the front could be changed by 1,000 155mm howitzers, 300 multiple rocket launchers, 500 tanks, 2,000 armored vehicles, 1,000 drones.
- It should be remembered that “Rammstein-3” should take place on June 15th. That is, the third meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
- Commenting on the upcoming meeting, Oleksiy Reznikov said that he hopes that our state will receive heavy weapons as a result of the meeting.
- In addition, in front of “Ramstein-3” Alexey Reznikov, Valery Zaluzhny and Mrs. US Ambassador Bridget Brink discussed preparations for the meeting. Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that they talked about ways to maintain the pace of supplying the necessary weapons to Ukraine.
