Because of the mass shelling of Ukrainian cities on the morning of October 10, the United States urged Americans to leave Ukraine. The United States said that Russian strikes pose a threat to the civilian population.
The US Embassy urged Americans to hide from rocket attacks or leave Ukraine when it is safe.
Russian strikes pose a threat to civilians
Russian strikes on Ukraine pose a direct threat to civilians and civilian infrastructure. The Embassy is urging U.S. citizens to shelter in place and leave Ukraine using available private ground vehicles when it is safe to do so.
Russia launched a massive strike on Ukrainian cities on the morning of October 10. Explosions were heard in:
- Rivne;
- Lviv;
- Ternopil;
- Khmelnitsky;
- Dnepropetrovsk;
- Zhytomyr;
- Poltava;
- Kharkiv;
- Nikolaev;
- Sumy;
- Ivano-Frankivsk;
- Kyiv region and Kyiv.
The Ministry of Defense reported that the enemy used 83 missiles during the strike, 43 of which shot down air defense forces .
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, infidels attacked Ukraine from the Black Sea and the Caspian region. Russia used Kh-101, Kh-555, Caliber, Iskander and S-300 missiles.
As a result of the shelling, 11 important infrastructure facilities were damaged. We are talking about 8 regions and Kyiv.
