The United States does not yet see a serious threat to Ukraine from the territory of Belarus. There are no troops there that can influence the development of the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine.
This was stated at a briefing by a representative of the US Department of Defense. It happened on October 18.
As for Belarus, this is what we are following, of course. So far, we have no signs that could make us change our views (on the development of the situation – Channel 24) on the battlefield in its current form, the Pentagon noted.
The United States also does not observe anything in terms of movement of Russian strategic aircraft and other means capable of carrying nuclear weapons.
