A billion US dollars remain

The journalist recalled that Shalanda Young sent a letter to the Speaker on Monday. In it she noted: “We have run out of money to support Ukraine in this fight. This will not be a problem next year.”

The head of the department noted that from a budget perspective there was about a billion dollars left to replenish its reserves. Consequently, the issue of assistance comes down to a political decision.

According to her, Congress must do what he has done several times in a bipartisan manner. It's about funding for national security and confidence that “we are where we are for our allies.”
