The International Football Federation (FIFA) has updated the ranking of national teams. Ukraine dropped two steps in it and now occupies 24th place.
Blue-yellow have 1553.35 points. Among the UEFA representatives, the Ukrainian team is twelfth.
Note that after the previous publication of the rating, the Ukrainian national team did not play matches. However, in January-February two major tournaments took place: the Asian Cup and the African Cup of Nations.

The greatest progress in the ranking was achieved by the teams of Angola (93rd place, +23 positions), Qatar (37, +21), Jordan (70, +17), Nigeria (28, +14) and Cote d& ;#8217;Ivoire (39, +10).
The rivals of the Ukrainian national team in the semi-finals of the play-off selection for the European Championship are the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina has also regressed and now ranks 71st. Potential opponents in the finals Iceland and Israel are in the updated rankings at 73 and 75 places respectively.
The FIFA ranking will have an impact on the formation of pots in the qualifying draw (December 2024) for the 2026 World Cup. European teams will be divided into 12 groups of 4-5 teams. To get into the first pot you need to be among the top 12 European teams.
