The Ukrainian military has intensified its activities on a number of islands in the Dnieper delta in the Antonovsky Bridge area.

Analysts at the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) report this.

Analysts refer to statements by Russian military officers who are very concerned about the activation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Russian bloggers believe that the Ukrainians are trying to strengthen their positions for a future counter-offensive on the left bank of the Kherson region.

ISW believes that the Russian army in this section of the front is experiencing a significant shortage of personnel, so it is not possible to resist the counter-offensive of the Defense Forces Maybe. At the same time, the Russian command transferred several units from the Kherson region to the Zaporozhye region.

Russian military officers also admit that the Russian Armed Forces have neither the human nor combat capabilities to cross the Dnieper in the Antonovsky Bridge area.
