President Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin took part in the sixth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia . At the meeting, they, as always, remembered the West.
Lukashenka said that after the collapse of the USSR, the West did not seem to be able to cope with the function of a guarantor of stability in the world. This is reported by channel 24.
What Lukashenka said at the summit
According to the Belarusian President, the practice of the West ” organize coups in other countries and sanctions carries the risks of the Third World War “.
Lukashenko believes that the time has come for Asia, and “very important this is the time not to miss it”.
After the collapse of the USSR, the so-called collective West, drunk with its victory, lost control, failed to cope with the functions of a global regulator and guarantor of stability. And the whole world is paying for it,” says Lukashenka.
The President stressed that Belarus has contributed to ensuring global security, and in the post-Soviet space was among the countries that voluntarily renounced the possession of nuclear weapons.
< p>In addition, Lukashenka noted that their initiatives – from a broad international dialogue on confidence-building measures to the “digital good neighborliness belt” – are focused on “the creation of an indivisible, comprehensive security architecture within which states and peoples peacefully coexist.”
The President thinks that the expansion of cooperation between the CSTO, SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization – Channel 24) and NCCA (Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia – Channel 24) allegedly capable of laying a powerful foundation< /strong>both for the successful development of the Eurasian space and for the security of the states participating in these associations.
Lukashenko is convinced that, given the removal of the focus of global politics and the economy of Asia, the dynamic development of transcontinental trade and economic ties is more than ever “further expansion of dialogue and cooperation between the states of the meeting is topical”.
Putin's main cynical statements at the meeting
- Russia calls for compensation for the damage caused to the Afghans during the years of occupation;
- Russia stands for the development and prosperity of Asia, as well as the creation of economic ties in this region;
- Russia is doing everything for the formation of a system of equal and indivisible security;
- Russia stands for the elimination of all artificial obstacles to the restoration of supply chains for goods;
- Asia, where new centers of power are growing, plays a big role in the transition to a multipolar world order;
- There is a real threat of famine and large-scale shocks against the backdrop of volatility in energy and food prices in the world;
- Russia stands for a revision of the principles of the world system. The current global financial system allowed the “golden billion” on the planet to live at someone else's expense.
