By decision of Vladimir Putin, the third stage of training of non-strategic nuclear forces has begun in Russia. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this.

The exercise will involve training units for the combat use of non-strategic nuclear weapons. Personnel of the air defense missile formations and the Central Military District will perform combat training missions to obtain special training ammunition for the Iskander-M systems.

The Russian Aerospace Forces will also practice equipping special combat units for airborne weapons and will conduct sorties in patrol areas.

The aggressor country's Ministry of Defense stated that this stage of training is aimed at increasing the readiness of personnel and equipment of units for the combat use of non-strategic nuclear weapons to perform combat missions.
