September for the inhabitants of the South of Ukraine was warm, and sometimes even hot. However, in October the situation will change dramatically.
Frost and snow in the South of Ukraine
The first snow in the southern regions is promised in the second half of October. Winter weather will visit this part of Ukraine on October 19.
In Odessa, the air temperature will drop very sharply. From +15 degrees it will drop to +6, and then to +1 degree. On October 20, the thermometers will show 0 degrees at night, and eventually drop below this mark.
Snow and rain are promised on October 19–21, and also on October 25.
The snow period will be delayed in Zaporozhye longer. The first frosts will also hit there – at night the temperature will drop to -5 degrees. At the same time, from November 1, the weather will become even colder, and there will be even more snow.
Will there be snow in other regions
Snow is also promised in the West, East and Center of Ukraine. However, in Lviv it will not fall out much. Small precipitation is possible only on October 21 and 22. Since there will be no frost, the snow will not linger on the surface.
In Kyiv, the first snow is promised on October 21-24. It will get cold in the capital in early November.
