In Ukraine, men from 18 to 25 years old are included in the conscript category during mobilization.
There are also cases when they can be mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A list of such cases was published on Facebook by the Odessa Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.

Mobilization of men from 18 to 25 years old
So, a man can be mobilized at this age:
- If a man completed military service in peacetime;
- If a person graduated from a higher military educational institution or military department and received a certain military specialty;
- If he is recognized by a military medical commission as unfit for military service in peacetime and suitable in wartime.
Since April 2024, the status of “limitedly fit” has been legally abolished in Ukraine, and those who possessed it remain liable for military service even if they are under 25 years old.
That is, such people can actually have their military registration documents checked and, if they don’t have current ones, send them to re-pass the military military qualifications.
According to the new legislation, after her a man can receive the following statuses:
- Fit for service;
- Suitable for service in military support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, institutions, medical units, logistics, communications, operational support, security units;
- Not applicable to military service with exception from military registration;
- Temporarily unfit – require treatment, leave, release from official duties;
- Unfit for military service with review after 6-12 months.
