The Russian military launched an aerial target in the direction of the Dnieper, probably from a Su-34 aircraft.
This was stated by the head of the communications department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, on the air of the national telethon, United News.
Russia launches target at Dnieper from Su-34 aircraft
Ignat said that the launch of an air target was recorded from the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhia region. This was also reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“It was a plane, probably a Su-34. The same planes that were recently destroyed by the Security Service, as was reported yesterday,” he noted.
The launched aerial target flew more than 100 kilometers, but fell short of the city of Dnepr by about 15 kilometers. It was shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces.
— The air defense intercepted it and destroyed it. Now the experts will establish what type of target was shot down, because it is impossible to say for sure now. I think that the experts will try, given that the event has become resonant, to establish what kind of air target it was, — Ignat added.
It should be noted that the head of the Dnepropetrovsk OVA, Serhiy Lysak, reported the shooting down of a new Grom-1 bomb-rocket.
The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andrey Kovalenko, also commented on rumors about Grom-1.
— As always, first there are a lot of rumors in the media about Grom-1, which, according to the OVA, was flying along the Dnieper, a lot of horror stories that it will fly to Odessa, but it turns out it was shot down, it is shot down, it is not the newest, and it will not fly to Odessa. But many have already blown it out of proportion, — he wrote in Telegram.
Let us recall that on June 28, an explosion thundered in Dnepr. The Armed Forces warned that a KAB was flying in the direction of Dnepropetrovsk Oblast.
