What to do if a man was handed a summons at a different place of registration, the Ukrainian Armed Forces told. Details – broadcast by Channel 24.
Submission not at the place of registration: is it legal
The Armed Forces of Ukraine explained that a person may be served with a summons not at the place of registration. Moreover, during martial law, according to the law, a citizen liable for military service does not have the right to change his place of residence without the permission of the head of the territorial recruitment center where he is registered.
If a person has moved to another locality or place, you need to come to the district shopping center and report your current address. You can also do this if you received a summons, during the verification of data or passing a medical examination.
Please note! Delivery of the summons does not mean mobilization. Citizens liable for military service between the ages of 18 and 60 must be registered with the local TCC. A subpoena or message is often served in order for citizens to update their data or pass a medical examination.
Is it legal if the subpoena is filled out immediately before service
- Summons can now be obtained almost everywhere. In particular, they are often handed out on the street.
- The law does not provide for a specific place where you need to fill out the summons. Therefore, it can be filled out right before handing it over to a citizen.
- However, it is important to clarify here – the agenda can be filled out only in the presence of the head of the territorial recruitment center. Or he must do it personally.
- In other cases, such service can be appealed. Note that each agenda must have the signature of the head of the TCC, a wet seal, the date of delivery, the address of the military registration and enlistment office and the time when you need to appear there.
