The strike causes maximum damage: what are the consequences of Ukrainian drone attacks on enemy refineries

by alex

Ukrainian drones regularly attack Russian oil refineries. It happens loudly in different regions of Russia.

Political strategist Boris Tizenhausen noted 24 Channel that drones attack at a maximum distance of about 1000 kilometers. He added that he was flying not through tanks, but through a large installation.

“This is called a primary distillation installation. As a rule, they target it. In principle, without this installation it is impossible to process oil. Neither gasoline, nor kerosene, nor diesel, nor oils can be produced,” Tiesenhausen said.

It becomes a serious problem for the enemy when this expensive installation fails. Almost all of this Western equipment was purchased in the pre-sanction period. The Russians can repair it, but it will take a very long time. And if unique parts are damaged, then you will have to order them in circumvention of the sanctions.

Russia cannot protect the oil refinery

That is, it turns out that the occupiers cannot protect own oil refineries. The enemy has approximately 40 – 45 refineries. All of them are located mainly in the European part of Russia. Ukrainian UAVs are brought there. The political strategist suggests that Ukraine launches dozens of drones at a time – 50 – 70 drones. This way, several objects are hit at once.

Judging by the quantity, we are now calculating in great detail what types of drones and how Russian air defenses will react. We see that many of them are simply unattainable and invisible,” Boris Tizenhausen is convinced.

The Russians have completely shut down gasoline exports for six months. However, fuel prices have risen not because of a decrease in industrial capabilities, but because of rumors that refineries may shut down.

“If they find out that there is also a non-renewable long time, equipment is damaged – everything. That is, internal quotas, restrictions – all this will be there, of course,” said the political strategist.
