The Central Russian Bank has completely limited the foreign exchange market and shows a beautiful picture that the ruble is strengthening. In fact, this reinforcement is artificial.
This was stated on Channel 24 by Vasily Furman, a member of the Council of the National Bank.
He stressed that the Russians do not have a foreign exchange market. Therefore, allegedly strengthening the case is artificial. This allows them to “draw” any figure: even 60 cents per ruble, as it was in the Soviet period.
Russians today cannot buy dollars, they cannot withdraw them from a bank systems. Everything is just beginning for them, – the expert noted.
At the same time, in Ukraine, the National Bank fixed the cost at the level of 29.25 hryvnia per dollar. This course will continue until the end of the war. As Furman emphasized, this proved to be expedient.
