The stock of dry rations is almost over: Painter spoke about the food problem in the Russian army

Russia faced a logistics problem and imposed restrictions on the supply of food products to its military in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar reported this on Telegram.

According to her, the occupiers, who are located in the Svatovsky direction, received an order that from September 2023 food supply to the personnel of the units stationed in this area will be stopped.

— It is significant that the use of restrictions in food supply to punish personnel has become one of the characteristic features of the so-called special military operation of the RF Armed Forces in Ukraine, — noted Malyar.

It is also known that in August of this year, not far from Pokrovsk, Zaporozhye region, more than 50 Russian soldiers were kept in “zindan” (dug a deep hole) for refusing to participate in hostilities. The invaders were fed once a day with small portions of food.

Malyar noted that Russia uses similar methods to punish local residents in the occupied territories. They are punished for violating the curfew or under any other far-fetched pretext.

In addition, it has been recorded that people mobilized in Russia are arriving en masse in Donetsk.

Most of them — these are labor migrants from the former Soviet republics who went to work in the Russian Federation and received Russian passports.

— According to these persons, they were actually taken by force, under escort, to the territory of Ukraine. Now they are being held in custody in houses whose owners have been deported to Russia.

The supply of dry rations received by the mobilized is practically over, there is no other food supply for them until they arrive in combat units, — Maliar reported.
