The State Emergency Service extinguished a forest fire on Mount Savchyn in Transcarpathia/State Emergency Service
In Transcarpathia, rescuers successfully extinguished a forest fire. It broke out on Mount Savchin between the settlements of Begendyatskaya Pastil and Kosteva Pastil.

According to the rescuers, the fire was extinguished on August 13 at 16.25.
In total, to extinguish fires attracted 234 people and 20 pieces of equipment, of which from the State Emergency Service:
- 102 people,
- 16 pieces of equipment, as well as aviation.
What is known about the forest fire in Transcarpathia
The fire started on August 12 in the territory of the Uzhgorod forestry. At 16.25 the fire was localized on an area of about 25 hectares. The total area covered by fire is 90 hectares.
The work of the rescuers was complicated by the hard-to-reach mountainous terrain. The State Emergency Service and the regional forestry and hunting economy conducted aerial reconnaissance of the fire in order to determine further ways to overcome the fire element.
