What the soldiers of Azovstal do in between battles/State Border Service
During the breaks between battles, there is a place for leisure at Azovstal. Border guards showed what they do when they don't kill enemies.
They are one of those who can be found among the employees of various formations who have become the defenders of Mariupol. On May 15, the State Border Service published a photo of soldiers resting in the storage facility.
How soldiers spend their leisure time
In one of the photos, two servicemen are playing chess by a lantern. It is noteworthy that despite the difficult situation, the soldiers do not lose optimism and smile.

On other photos men read books and watch something on smartphone. They also made public the image of the flag of the Ukrainian Maritime Guard, which the fighters keep even on land.

What is the current situation at Azovstal
- This enterprise has long been surrounded by the enemy. At first, there were not only soldiers, but also civilians, whom the Russians were allowed to take out only after 2 months. At the same time, there has not been a day when the territory of the plant has not been attacked.
- Now our defenders are there, who once again showed the whole world how strong our people can be. They continue to fight, even though there is not even medicine. At the same time, there are already more than 600 seriously wounded fighters, whom the Russians do not allow to be evacuated.
- The enemy army continues to use different types of weapons and throw insane numbers of soldiers there. However, they simply cannot take Azovstal.
- Russia has repeatedly offered our military to surrender. However, they said they would fight to the end. At the same time, the authorities are conducting difficult negotiations, in which various intermediaries are involved – from country leaders to international organizations. However, the Kremlin simply does not make concessions and continues to perpetrate this terror, which no longer looks like a war, but an ordinary attempt to kill hundreds of people.
