Today, June 28, stamps with the image of the world's largest aircraft An-225 Mriya went on sale. It was destroyed by Russian infidels during the invasion of the Kyiv region.

Immediately after the start of sales, Ukrainians lined up in front of Ukrposhta offices to be the first to buy stamps with a new design. Igor Smelyansky told about this.

What is known about the brand “Ukrainian Dream”

The sketch of the new stamp was created by 11-year-old Sofia Kravchuk from Lyuboml Volynska region – winner of the All-Ukrainian competition of drawings and photographs “What is Ukraine for me?” in 2021. It was planned to sell stamps even before the war. However, after the Russians invaded Gostomel, the ideological component changed somewhat.

This release is very special for us. Because he personifies Ukrainian invincibility. The Russians managed to destroy the largest aircraft in the world, our creation. But they will not succeed in destroying our true dream and longing for freedom. Every adult and kid knows this,” Ukrposhta said in a statement.

Ukrainian stamps for the duration of the war

The first popular brand was the release of “Russian warship, go …!”. It was sold out in a matter of days, Internet sites could not withstand the influx of those who wanted to sell it. After the extraordinary demand, the stamps became one of the symbols of this war that Russia launched against Ukraine.

Due to such popularity, the management of Ukrposhta continued the series called “Russian warship … everything.” The only difference from the previous series is that there is still the same Ukrainian border ship, but the enemy ship is no longer there – it is at the bottom.

Subsequently, Ukrposhta began voting on the topic of a new stamp. Ukrposhta decided not to stop there, and presented a postage stamp “Good evening, we are from Ukraine!” . 834 thousand people took part in the voting. The sketch of a Ukrainian tractor pulling a shot down Russian tank won.
