On the territory of Romania, close to the border with Ukraine, the body of a man was found, probably a fugitive from mobilization.
This was reported by the State Border Service.
It was previously established that the deceased was a resident Zaporozhye born in 1988. He was found in the hard-to-reach mountains opposite the border service department of Shibena, Ivano-Frankivsk region. According to external signs, the body, more precisely — skeleton in warm clothes — was there for a long time.

This is already the 24th case of death of a Ukrainian man of military age on the border of Ukraine with the EU countries since the beginning of a full-scale war. The previous 23 were found on the border with Romania and Hungary in Transcarpathia, of which 19 — near the Tisza River.
—Usually they tried to illegally enter countries where there was no war and, ironically, died during such travels. Sometimes a dangerous route is offered by criminals who profit from organizing the illegal movement of persons across the border, the State Border Service notes.
Border guards warned that when embarking on such illegal journeys, it is important to weigh whether it is worth doing, since excessive self-confidence can sometimes lead to tragic consequences.
