Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky took part in the 21st meeting in the Ramstein format. He told his partners about the difficult situation at the front.

It was indicated that President Vladimir Zelensky, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kirill Budanov also spoke to the participants of the meeting of the Contact Group on the defense capability of Ukraine.

— I, in turn, informed the coalition participants about the complex operational-strategic situation, which has a tendency to escalate; the specifics of the enemy’s airstrikes against energy infrastructure facilities; about our urgent needs for missiles, ammunition, weapons, military equipment and the key role of their timely receipt, — said the commander-in-chief.
Syrsky also thanked his partners and personally the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, for their consistent support of Ukraine, our Armed Forces and military assistance.
Ramstein-21
On April 26, the 21st meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine took place in the Ramstein format.
The main issues were Air defense, armored vehicles and artillery for the Defense Forces.
Following the meeting, the United States announced the transfer of a $6 billion military aid package to Ukraine.
Also, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin did not rule out the supply of additional Patriot systems to Ukraine from the United States.
