The Ministry of Defense commented on delays in payments to the military. In general, the situation can be difficult.
When there are delays, the authorities talk about it. Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar spoke about this on the air of the telethon, channel 24 reports.
The Ministry of Defense transfers money to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and they directly to the military. That is, there is also an intermediary between the Ministry and the defender – the military unit. This also takes time.
Payment delays are warned
Malyar gave an example of why payout delays may occur. In particular, in order to pay for July in August, it was necessary to make certain changes in the legislation.
After the Verkhovna Rada approved the budget changes, payments were transferred. However, they warned that there could be a delay of 2-3 weeks.
We all need to understand the state of the state now… In general, the situation is difficult, – said Malyar.
What to do if the military did not receive a payment from the state
The authorities noted that if a military man or a member of his family, for some technical reasons or procedures provided for by the current legislation, did not receive payment, you need to contact:
- the relevant Centers for recruiting social protection of citizens, former military commissariats,
- local authorities,
- people's deputies
All stipulated payments must be made regardless of the circumstances.
