According to the military expert, there is no reason to believe that the Russians will be able to seize the strategic initiative. He noted that now Ukrainian fighters are fighting with the so-called second replacement grouping of Russian troops. The first group that the aggressor country sent to Ukraine at the beginning of the invasion was almost destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In the meantime, mobilization is underway in Russia and it is the so-called third corps. Even if the Russians manage to assemble 300,000 troops, the fate of the previous two groups awaits them.
However, one should not underestimate the threat from the mobilized, since they will have at least some weapons. “In my opinion, a turning point can really happen when more than a thousand Russians are captured in one day,” the military expert noted.
