A special operation by Russian volunteers continues in the Belgorod and Kursk regions. It became known that the rebels had entered another populated area.

The rebels are moving forward

Russian volunteers continue to fight with Kremlin troops on the territory of the Belgorod region.

As previously reported by the RDC, the epicenter of military clashes in this region is the city of Grayvoron and its environs.

On March 17, the rebels said that they, together with volunteers from the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, entered the village of Gorkovsky on Russian territory and seized the local administration building.

Note that Gorkovsky is a village in the Grayvoronsky district of the Belgorod region. Located in the west of the Belgorod region, in the southeastern part of the Grayvoronsky district near the border with Ukraine.

The distance between this settlement and Grayvoron is almost 18 kilometers.

Recall that earlier volunteers announced the liberation of Kozinka, a village in the vicinity of Grayvoron.

  • March 12, Russian volunteers from units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces – the Freedom of Russia Legion, the RDK and the Siberian Battalion – broke through the border and entered into battle with Putin’s troops in the Belgorod and Kursk regions.
  • On March 16, the rebels turned to Putin to allow the evacuation of civilians from villages where fighting was taking place.
  • They also reported the capture of 25 occupiers and 20 Kadyrovites.
  • Volunteers continue to strike military targets in the Belgorod region.
