Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainians have united more than ever for a common goal. One of the largest foundations in Ukraine, the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation, collected a huge amount for the needs of the army over the year.

The founder of the charitable foundation, volunteer Serhiy Prytula spoke about this on Channel 24 . Despite the fact that only about a hundred people work in the Prytula Charitable Foundation throughout Ukraine, they are dedicated to their work and do everything possible to bring victory closer.

Prytula said that the fund is constantly covering the traditional spending needs of our defenders. In January 2023 alone, volunteers contracted about 700 drones.

In total, over the past year, we sent 4,515 drones to the front line, this is without taking into account the drone systems,” Pritula added.

What is the Foundation working on now?

The fund works for the needs of tactical medicine, buys walkie-talkies, has already exceeded a thousand units of vehicles transferred to the front.

In addition, volunteers, together with partners, continue to restore captured armored vehicles and transfer them to trophy units.

We are currently processing 6 units of MT-LB, from which we produce armored medical and evacuation vehicles,” said Prytula.

How much money the fund raised in the first year of a full-scale war

The founder of the charity fund said that from February 24, 2022 to February 24, 2023, the total budget of the fund's meeting was more than 4 billion 182 million hryvnia .

The amount is incredible, this is something that, frankly, sometimes constricts the throat, because this is an indicator of the incredible love of Ukrainians for their army. This is the realization that our defenders urgently need to lend a shoulder, where we can do it and we must do it for sure, – the speaker emphasized.

Prytula thanked all caring Ukrainians, volunteers, military attaches of Ukraine at the embassies of partner countries, border guards, customs officers, who organized everything at the highest level of efficiency to cross the border.
