Details on the shelling of the border area of the Sumy region/OK “Sever”
Russian invaders shelled the border area of Sumy region on the evening of May 24th. It became known that enemy missiles were fired at Gudov and Shaliginov.
Russian invaders fired missiles at the border Sumy region on May 24 at about 20:00. The new details were reported in the Operational Command “North” on May 25.

Previously, 2 rockets were laid in the area of the settlement of Gudovo. Another 4 “arrivals” were recorded in the vicinity of the Shalygino settlement. According to the Sever OK, the missiles were fired from two Su-type aircraft.
There are no losses among the personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Information about casualties, injuries among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure is still being clarified.

On the evening of May 24, shelling took place on the territory of the Sumy region. According to preliminary data, a pair of enemy planes twice launched unguided rockets in the direction of the Shostka region.
8 ammunition exploded near another village in the Shostka region. Another 7 mines exploded in the vicinity of the village of Konotop district of the Sumy region.
The shelling is not the first time. The operational command “North” was informed that on May 24, within an hour, the Russians fired 15 times at the Sumy region. The Russians attacked the settlements of Boyaro-Lezhachi and Tolstodubovo.
