The Russian occupiers continue to shell the border areas. In particular, 15 facts of shelling were recorded in the Chernihiv region.
Chernihiv border guards fired on the morning of May 21. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.
About 12:10 – 12:20, the observers recorded 9 “arrivals” from, probably, a 120mm mortar in the direction of Gremyachaya, writes OK “North”.
Approximately at the same time, 6 more “arrivals” from a 120-mm mortar or cannon artillery were recorded in the direction of Nikolayevka.
There are no losses among personnel and equipment. There was no information about losses among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.
Shelling of the border in Chernihiv region on May 20
OK Sever previously reported that on May 20 May around 14:35 was recorded 4 “arrival” from a mortar caliber of 120 millimeters. Shelling also took place in the area of the Gremyach settlement.
15 minutes later, at about 14:50, the observers recorded 4 more mortar “arrivals” in the direction of Seredyna-Buda.
Fortunately, the Ukrainian military was not injured. There were no losses among the equipment either.
The situation in Donbas over the past day
Sergey Gaidai said that Russian infidels concentrated their efforts on seizing the Luhansk region. The head of the OVA says that in the near future the aggressor will overturn a huge amount of his equipment into the region. According to local authorities, 2,500 pieces of heavy equipment drove in the direction of Donbas within a day and a half.
Enemy shelling in the Lugansk region does not stop at all. The alarm has been going on in the region since April 4.
During the day of May 20, the invaders destroyed at least 44 residential buildings in the Luhansk region: 23 in Lisichansk, 16 in Privil, and 5 in Severodonetsk.
The situation in the Donetsk region is a little easier. However, infidels fire at the Ukrainian military along the entire front line – from the Maryinsk to the Liman communities.
During May 29, the Russians damaged 27 residential buildings and 8 civilian infrastructure facilities. 3 people were killed and 4 more injured.
