March 15 became a tragic day for Odessa. There, due to a Russian strike with Iskander-M missiles, 20 people were killed and another 75 were injured.

Today, Germany, France and Poland announced the creation of a coalition of long-range weapons for Ukraine, and Portugal joined the Czech Republic’s initiative to purchase shells for our country and allocated €100 million.

Russian strike on Odessa

Russia launched another attack on Odessa on March 15th. The head of the Odessa OVA, Oleg Kiper, said that the Iskander-M missiles that attacked Odessa flew from Crimea in less than 5 minutes.

Because of Russian aggression 20 people were killed, another 75 were injured of varying degrees of severity. Among the victims are the former deputy mayor and commander of the Tsunami regiment Sergei Tetyukhin, as well as the former head of the regional patrol police Alexander Gostishchev, paramedic Sergei Rotaru and rescuer of the State Emergency Service Denis Kolesnikov.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in his video message promised a fair reaction to the Russian strike on Odessa.

— We have identified the enemy’s most vulnerable spots, those where we can cause him the greatest harm. And we will apply it. The more the Russian state loses and the greater the price of its aggression, the closer the just end to this war will be, — he said.

€100 million for shells from Portugal

Portugal allocated €100 million for the purchase of shells for Ukraine, thereby joining the Czech initiative.

— Portugal supports Ukraine by providing 100 million euros for large-caliber artillery ammunition. Together with several European countries, we are joining the Czech procurement initiative, — informed the Portuguese Ministry of Defense on the social network X.

Coalition of long-range weapons for Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the formation of a new coalition. They agreed on joint supplies of long-range weapons to Ukraine.

“We are creating a new coalition of long-range artillery forces,” Chancellor Scholz said at a press conference along with French Head of State Emmanuel Macron and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Berlin.

In addition, he stated that France, Germany and Poland will purchase more military equipment for Ukraine on the world market, and with partners they will increase the production of military equipment in our country.

Return of dead bodies to Ukraine

Ukraine returned the bodies of 100 dead soldiers.

—The Armed Forces of Ukraine ensure the transportation of repatriated bodies and remains to certain government institutions for transfer to law enforcement officials and forensic experts to establish the identities of the dead, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported.

The bodies of the soldiers, after identification, will be handed over to their families for a dignified burial.

The fourth day of the RDK raid and elections in the Russian Federation

In Russia, on the fourth day, the Russian Freedom Legion, the Siberian Battalion and the RDK are conducting a joint special operation in populated areas of the aggressor country. March 15 explosions did not subside in Belgorod and the region.

Evacuation of the civilian population was carried out in Belgorod and Kursk.

On March 15, presidential elections were held in Russia during the day. During voting, due to explosions in Belgorod, polling stations even had to be closed.
