As a result of the shelling of Kyiv, which was carried out by the Russian military on April 28, ten people were injured. Four victims were hospitalized.

Two people were injured

First Deputy Mayor of Kyiv Mykola Povoroznyk spoke about the condition of the injured on the air of the Rada channel, Channel 24 reports. Earlier it became known that, unfortunately, under the rubble of a high-rise building, they found the deceased, who turned out to be journalist Vera Girich.

Povoroznik said that the search for the deceased journalist of Radio Liberty began in the morning.

“Unfortunately, during the analysis of the rubble, the deceased was found. We started looking for her in the morning, because she was one of our colleagues. We tried to find her. Unfortunately, we found her under the rubble,” Deputy Vitali Klitschko said.

In total, according to Povoroznyk, 10 people were injured as a result of the shelling.

Six people were simply evacuated. Four more were hospitalized. Two of them were wounded, two more with carbon monoxide poisoning, he said.

The Russians shelled Kyiv: briefly

  • In addition to Kyiv, the invaders launched a missile attack on Fastov, not far from the capital. Enemy missiles damaged infrastructure facilities, two people were injured.
