From the Romanian side of the Danube, it was noticeable how Russian drones attacked the ferry crossing across the Orlovka river – Isaccea” between Ukraine and Romania. The explosions were recorded on the night of September 26.

According to local residents of the Romanian city of Isaccea, at night they heard loud sounds and saw five to six drones. Earlier, Natalia Gumenyuk reported that the Russians damaged the checkpoint between Ukraine and Romania.

It is worth noting that we are talking about a checkpoint, which is located near the village of Orlovka, Izmail district, Odessa region and the Romanian city of Isaccea, Dobrudzha in Tulchin county.

Romanian journalists wrote that traffic through the Isaccea checkpoint was completely closed due to night shelling on September 26 from the Ukrainian side – Orlovka, Izmail district.

It should be added that the Ukrainian border guards also reported that the Orlovka checkpoint is not working; measures are being taken to stabilize the functioning after a night attack by the enemy.

Two ferries providing passage from one bank of the Danube to the other are anchored on Romanian coast.

In addition, journalists showed a direct video of the attack filmed from the Isaccea customs.

In the pictures taken right at the Isaccea customs office, an area in Tulcea County, you can see huge flames as a result of the attack, the publication noted.

The man who filmed the video shouted to his colleagues on the barge to leave the port as soon as possible .

Russia fired at the Odessa region with “Shahed” drones

• On the night of September 26, Russia attacked the Odessa region with “Shahed”-type kamikaze drones for two hours. The head of the Odessa OVA Oleg Kiper said that the occupiers had entered the port infrastructure of the Izmail region. According to the official, the checkpoint buildings, warehouses and approximately 30 trucks were damaged, 6 trucks were occupied. The fire was extinguished.
• Unfortunately, two truck drivers were injured. One was helped on the spot, the other was hospitalized with a hand injury.
