On February 11, the US Senate took the next step towards passing the international assistance bill HR 815, which includes Ukraine.
67 senators, with 60 required, supported the decision to suspend debate on replacing the original text of HR 815 with the text previously proposed by Democratic Senator Patty Murray. 27 senators opposed.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova wrote about this on her Facebook page.

—The next procedural step is a vote to approve the text replacement, which may take place… no earlier than Monday, February 12th, — she remarked.
According to Western media reports, the US Senate has overcome the last procedural obstacle to the adoption of an aid package for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan totaling $95.3 billion. For Ukraine, in particular, it is proposed to allocate $60.06 billion
It is noted that the Democratic majority in the Senate adopted this decision, demonstrating strong bipartisan unity despite the opposition of the conservative part of the Republican Party and the 45th President of the United States Donald Trump.
The vote on February 11th makes it possible for the bill to be finally passed in the Senate in the coming days.
The fate of the bill
However, if the bill ultimately passes the Senate, it will head to the House, where it is unclear when or whether Speaker Mike Johnson will vote on it.
Some House Republicans oppose further aid to Ukraine, and Trump opposes legislation that could be seen as a victory for President Joe Biden.
