The scent of victory for $249: Donald Trump presented his own line of perfumes

US President Donald Trump continues to expand the range of products under his own brand. Now, perfume and cologne have been added to the line of cryptocurrency, watches and sneakers.

He presented the new product on his Truth Social platform and duplicated it on the X platform.

Trump Perfume – What is Known

The Trump Fragrances line is called Victory 45-47, a nod to the fact that Trump was the 45th president of the United States and returned to the White House as the 47th. He described the scent as a symbol of victory, strength, and success.

– Trump perfume is already here. It is called Victory 45-47, because it represents victory, strength and success for men and women. Get yourself a bottle and don’t forget about those you love. Enjoy, have fun and keep winning! – wrote the American leader.

The new product is priced at $249 per bottle. The packaging is designed as a gold limited edition, and the product itself is positioned as luxury. The women's version is described as a scent of “confidence, beauty and invincible determination,” and the men's version is for those who “lead with confidence, strength and purpose.”

The manufacturer's website states in very small letters at the bottom that Trump Fragrances are licensed and not Trump's creation. It also states that the company that produces the eau de toilette has no connection to the political campaign.

Little is known about the scent itself, but users of the perfume website Fragrantica noted that the men's version combines notes of cardamom, geranium, woody and spicy tones with a distinct, fresh aroma.

Trump under fire over perfume launch

The perfume launch has sparked criticism on social media, with the Republicans Against Trump campaign accusing Trump of using his presidency to enrich himself.

“From crypto to perfume, he has never stopped using the presidency for personal gain,” the organization said.

Journalist Aaron Rupar called it “new frontiers of fraud,” and host Mehdi Hasan wondered if it was even legal.

Other social media users recalled that in the 1970s, Jimmy Carter even sold his peanut farm to avoid a conflict of interest as president.

Meanwhile, according to Forbes, Trump could have earned up to $315 million on the $TRUMP cryptocurrency alone, and his latest financial statements show another $50 million in profit from the Mar-a-Lago club, $3 million from a book, and almost $58 million from the World Liberty Financial platform.
