– As the investigation established, Muraev used his own media resource to provide distorted information about the internal situation in our state. Thus, he assisted the aggressor in numerous attempts to destabilize the socio-political situation in Ukraine on the eve of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, — reports SBU.

In this regard, at the beginning of February 2022, sanctions were introduced against Muraev’s TV channel by the National Security and Defense Council.

Expertise initiated by the Security Service confirmed the facts of the defendant’s anti-Ukrainian activities.

Based on the collected evidence, the ex-people's deputy is accused under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

  • h. 1 tbsp. 111 (high treason);
  • h. 1 tbsp. 161 (violation of the equality of citizens depending on their race, nationality, regional affiliation, religious beliefs, disability and other characteristics).

Recall that in the fall of 2022, SBU officers conducted a series of searches at Muraev’s residences and offices in Kyiv . Cash in Russian rubles, weapons, as well as computer equipment and mobile phones with evidence of the subversive activities of the ex-people's deputy were found there.
