The SBU exposed the traitors who helped the enemy advance on Kyiv. The main “manager” of the group was a woman from Kiev, who was recruited by the special services of the aggressor country during trips to Russia.
It was possible to expose all members of the criminal group gradually – at first, back in March, the SBU conducted a special operation to expose the first member, and subsequently identified all those involved. They turned out to be residents of the capital at the age of 35-45.
How the traitors acted
A few months before the invasion, agents became more active in the information field. They began to disperse pro-Russian videos and publications on social networks.
On the eve of February 24, the woman was instructed to collect intelligence about the objects and defense of Kyiv, namely:
- deployment and movement of military personnel and equipment APU;
- security status of military facilities,
- as well as civilian infrastructure facilities in energy, transport, finance, communications, healthcare, etc.
