Zhdanov noted that the occupiers are withdrawing from Kherson the FSB, the National Guard, collaborators and gauleiters. The same applies to the Kadyrovites, who are fighters of the National Guard. At the same time, the Russians are bringing in other battalion tactical groups from the reserve they had in the Melitopol area.
To date, the grouping of Russian troops on the right bank, unfortunately, is increasing. From a military point of view, I can assume that they will fight for Kherson. And this battle will be very difficult for us, – said the military expert.
He believes that the invaders are unlikely to find weapons that can surprise us. But the invaders are increasing the size of their group. This indicates that they will defend themselves and try to fulfill Putin's order without taking a step back.

Zhdanov also commented on the statements of Russian propagandists who claim that they have already repelled the offensive of our defenders in the Kherson region several times.
According to the military expert, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are probing the enemy’s defenses regarding his weak points.
There are counterattacks, but no counteroffensive. There are counterattacks in separate areas to test the strength of the enemy’s defense,” he explained.
Zhdanov added that Ukrainian soldiers are running out, trying to use remote methods of warfare – artillery, rocket artillery and aircraft. But they are not yet carrying out assault actions.
