Vladimir Putin's administration's special flight spent 2 days in the USA. The Russian Foreign Ministry explained this visit by the rotation of diplomats.

Could some representative of the head of the Kremlin actually visit the US for the purpose of negotiations, political scientist Taras Zagorodniy told Channel 24.

Zagorodniy does not rule out that there really could have been a planned rotation of Russian diplomats. However, it is quite possible that some representative of the Kremlin did fly to the US to once again present his vision of the end of the war.

I think that they (the Russians – Channel 24) categorically did not like the answer, because they already have fundamental contradictions with the Trump administration, at least what was said before, – the political scientist said.

After all, he explained, Russia is categorically not satisfied with the fixation along the demarcation line. The Kremlin wants an official refusal of Ukraine to join NATO, and Putin himself has even begun to comment on this. The enemy also wants the Ukrainian army to be reduced, obligations not to develop missiles to be imposed, and much more.

And the fact that no one is talking about this, Zagorodniy noted, is very annoying to Russians, since the demands of one person – the Russian dictator – are being ignored.

You can put pressure on Putin

The political scientist noted that the story of the shooting down of the Embraer plane and the reaction to it by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev are indicative. It is obvious that if you put pressure on Putin, he starts to fuss.

You see, I called Aliyev twice, said Zagorodniy.

In his opinion, this does not go unnoticed in the United States. Given this, the Americans can tell China to force Putin to stop the war – and not at all in the way the Russian dictator wants.
